Eisner and Harvey Award nominated writer Marc Sumerak has spent the last two decades creating books, comics, and video games showcasing a number of today’s most popular entertainment brands, including Marvel Comics, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, Firefly, and more.
Sumerak was the writer of the Nintendo Switch exclusive video game, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, and he also contributes story content to the popular mobile game, Marvel Future Fight. His comic book work includes runs on Power Pack, Franklin Richards: Son of a Genius and the Marvel Adventures line of titles.
A seasoned lecturer, Sumerak frequently visits schools, libraries, and conventions to teach the craft of making comic books. He will be instructing a graphic narratives course at the Cleveland Institute of Art starting in Spring, 2020.
