Comics Experience at Denver Comic Con, June 17-19, 2016!

This June 17-19, Comics Experience’s Andy Schmidt and Robert Atkins will be tabling, reviewing portfolios, and participating in panels at Denver Comic Con 2016 (#DCC2016)!

Andy SchmidtAndy Schmidt will have a table in Artist Alley, where he’ll be available to advise newcomer creators on how to develop their work, “break in” to comics, and achieve their creative goals! Andy is the founder of Comics Experience, and instructs courses including our popular Introduction to Comic Book Writing and Advanced Comic Book Writing. He’s a writer for comics and video games, and a former editor at Marvel and IDW. Learn more about his background here!

Robert AtkinsYou can find Robert Atkins in Artist Alley as well. Robert has taught numerous Comics Experience art courses, including Introduction to Comic Book Art, Introduction to Figure Drawing and Anatomy, and more! Robert’s background includes penciling the art for G.I. Joe comics, Amazing Spider-Man, and All-New Savage She-Hulk. He also has extensive experience doing commercial art, toy packaging, and game design! You can find Robert’s full bio here.
