NYCC 2016 Recap!

Instructors Chris Sotomayor & Robert Atkins

At New York Comic Con 2016, Comics Experience founder Andy Schmidt presented a panel, led a family workshop, and hosted a Creators Workshop meet-up!

On Friday, October 7, Andy and writer/Comics Experience alum Paul Allor conducted a panel titled “Breaking Into Comics.” The discussion walked attendees through the process of creating, publishing, and distributing their work.

On Saturday, October 8, Andy conducted “Let’s Make a Comic: Parents & Kids Together Time.” This workshop led participants of all ages through activities that helped them create their own comics.

And on Saturday night, members of the Comics Experience Creators Workshop had an opportunity to meet in person for a casual meet-up. Check out pictures of the event here!

Thanks to everyone who attended these events – we hope you enjoyed! If you couldn’t make it, we hope to see you at a future convention, or in our courses or Creators Workshop!
