CE Community Members Win Top Cow Talent Hunt Two Years In a Row!

Top Cow Productions recently announced the winners of their 2013 Talent Hunt — and for the second year in a row, one of the winning writers is a member of the Comics Experience community!

Devon Wong is one of four writers selected as a winner by Top Cow’s President and Chief Operating Officer, Matt Hawkins, in this year’s search! His work will appear in the Top Cow series Artifacts.

Devon WongDevon is a member of our Creators Workshop, an alum of our Intro to Writing Course, and a student in our Advanced Writing courses.

“It’s a huge honor to be among the winners of the Top Cow Talent Hunt,” says Devon. “The Comics Experience community has played a big role in the development of my work, and I can’t wait to see an issue of Artifacts on the stands that I can say I helped to produce. From what I’ve seen, the creators they’ve picked this year are incredibly, well… talented, for lack of another word. I hope that Top Cow fans enjoy our new takes on old and sometimes obscure characters from the universe.”

Last year’s winners included Creators Workshop member Ken Porter, who won for his story “The Teacher and the Preacher.” Ken was one of three writers selected from more than 800 writer submissions.

Congrats to the Talent Search winners past and present!
