Comics Experience alums and Creators Workshop members make comics!
Two of our latest community members to announce new projects are Pete Rogers and Nic J. Shaw, with a re-released digital comic and Kickstarter campaign, respectively.
Pete Rogers is the writer of Unseen Shadows: Fragments of Fate. The story follows Professor Napoleon Stone as he encounters mythical artifacts and a demonic cult! Pete’s collaborators include Paul McLaren and RH Stewart.
This digital comic has been re-released in full color with a new cover by Cormac Hughes and Darren Brown. It’s available for just £1 – about $1.67 US.
Pete is a writer, teacher and advertising creative from Wales, UK, and a member of the Comics Experience Creators Workshop.
Nic J. Shaw is also a Workshop member, and an alum of the Intro and Advanced Writing courses. His Kickstarter campaign is for the graphic novel Shepherd – a story about two brothers, former hunters, who now devote themselves to saving the lives of the animals that were once their prey. The story pits the brothers against a villain called the Collector, and his assemblage of some of the world’s greatest hunters.
Shepherd is co-written by Firas Janabi, with art by Bruno Oliveira. Incentives include prints, badges, sketches and more! You can visit the campaign page here.
Congrats to Pete, Nic and their collaborators on these projects!
