On Saturday, October 25, artist David Finch will lead a Comics Experience Master Seminar on “Drawing Awesome!” This course is already filling up just by word of mouth, but enrollment will remain open and all are welcome for this unique, one-day-only experience!
David Finch is an icon of the comics industry, with a body of work that ranges from creator-owned titles (Aphrodite IX, Ascension) to big-name franchises (Batman, The Avengers, X-Men). Finch’s art has a distinctive slickness and energy that have helped him earn his reputation as one of the most in-demand comic artists working today. His hotly-anticipated take on Wonder Woman is scheduled to debut in fall 2014!
During the Master Seminar, Finch will cover topics including his drawing and inking techniques, choosing the right media and software for your projects, building an audience, adjusting and evolving your artistic style, and more!
Comics Experience founder and instructor Andy Schmidt will co-host the seminar, and the day will conclude with a Question-and-Answer session between the hosts and participants.
This is a one-time-only course on Saturday, October 25. However, the session will be recorded, and those who register will have access to the recording for an additional two weeks!
The course will be held from 10:00 AM to approximately 4:00 PM Eastern Time, with a one-hour break for lunch. All are welcome for this live, online session. There are no prerequisites, so it’s a perfect fit for artists of any level… and to anyone interested in DRAWING AWESOME!
