Introduction to Figure Drawing and Anatomy Class Filling Up Fast

ComicsExperience_logo

Anatomy is the fundamental of figure drawing. While we heavily encourage each and every artist to find their own personal style, we believe that a strong foundation in how the body fits together and operates forms the cornerstone of creative self-exploration. Comics Experience’s seven-week Introduction to Figure Drawing and Anatomy starts on June 1, and may be attended by anyone from individuals who only recently bought their first set of pencils to the most advanced artists who want a refresher.

Remember that classes full up fast, so be sure to register as soon as you can. We keep class sizes small to make sure all attendees receive the attention and support needed to achieve their goals.

Introduction to Figure Drawing and Anatomy will be taught by Robert Atkins. He brings over a decade of experience in the comic book industry, with work on titles such as Heroes for Hire, G.I. Joe, Amazing Spider-Man, Venom, and more. As a graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design, Robert knows plenty about how to delve deeply into the human body’s wondrous and complex workings and eventually harness it to develop a unique visual voice.
