Schools aren’t the only ones with classes starting back up in the fall! Comics Experience has two advanced courses and one introductory course available for you.

Remember that space is limited to ensure that all participants receive the professional attention and care they need to start making the comics they’ve always wanted to make. We can only guarantee spots to those who sign up.

Comics Experience founder and CEO Andy Schmidt‘s Advanced Comic Book Writing: Super-Heroes & Science Fiction will be starting back up on September 7. This seven-week class provides intensive instruction on what specific factors make for great stories within the superhero and science fiction genres. The syllabus also includes straightforward advice about how to get work in the comics industry. Prior completion of our introductory writing class is required.

You can learn more and sign up here.

“I learned more about the comic book industry from one class with Andy then I had in years of writing,” says writer Dan Schechter of his time in the class.

“The best thing about Comics Experience is that it provides a unique environment where you are learning from industry professionals while networking with them and other creators who have the same goals as your own. Andy is an excellent teacher who has tons of industry experience. Since I started learning from him I’ve seen a huge increase in the quality of the work I produce.”
