New Intro to Comic Book Writing Course Opens November 1!

ComicsExperience_logoIntroduction to Comic Book Writing will begin a new session on November 1, 2017.

Taught by writer, editor, and Comics Experience founder Andy Schmidt, Introduction to Comic Book Writing has helped hundreds of alums launch their careers in comics. (It should be noted, however, that many also take the class just for fun – and that’s awesome, too!)

Graduates of the comic book writing course include working pros like Paul Allor (TET, Marvel Universe Guardians of the Galaxy), Amy Chu (Poison Ivy: Cycle of Life and Death) Bobby Curnow (editor, IDW Publishing), and Nick Spencer (Morning Glories). Check out the course page for more comments from former students.

Andy SchmidtAndy conducts the course with a methodical series of lessons and hands-on exercises to help you learn skills specific to the comics medium. By the end of the session, you’ll complete a polished comic script! You’ll also also gain the confidence and practical knowledge to advance your writing goals. Introduction to Comic Book Writing is the prerequisite for our Advanced Comic Book Writing class.
