Heather Antos was born with secret aspirations to become the next James Bond. However since her lack of British heritage has pushed that dream aside she now spends her days as the girl who will never grow up.

Heather launched her meteoric rise in comics by creating several Kickstarter Projects that were easily funded and became an expert on the platform giving talks at conventions nation wide and has been invited to talk at Kickstarter! Headquarters to help their staff better service comics projects on their platforms.

Having worked as an Editor at Marvel, primarily on the Star Wars and Deadpool lines, as well as being one of the creators of breakout character Gwenpool, she spends her days as a freelance comics editor and story consultant on titles like Redlands and Injection for Image.

Heather is currently an editor at Valiant Entertainment and active member of the comics community. Comics Experience welcomes her to her first Comics Experience course!

Do I need to know a whole lot about comics?

Absolutely not. This course is designed for anyone who has a desire to make comics, be they a beginner or an expert. It’s an in-depth discussion, but we strive to make sure that our conversational tone is inclusive to our wide range of attendees’ experience.

No, but you do need to have high-speed Internet access. We recommend that you have headphones with a microphone to plug into your computer, but that’s by no means necessary.

Our courses are recorded so that you never have to miss a class! Can’t make it at that specific time? No worries. What computer programs do I need for this course?

It would be good to have a basic word processing software like Microsoft Word or the equivalent and you’ll need computer access so you can log into Kickstarter!’s platform.

You bet. We’ve had students jump in from Europe, Asia, Australia, South America and Africa. Many of these students have not been able to attend live due to the time difference, but they’ve all been happy to view the recordings!
