Michelle Kasten joined Comics Experience in 2019 as Operations Manager. Her formal education includes a BA in Latin American Languages & Literatures. She has worn many hats throughout her career, most recently those of business owner, non-profit administrator and mother (the BEST “job”). She has also performed translation and interpreting services in Spanish and Portuguese, and has experience working in the environmental health and safety engineering field.
She believes in continued personal and professional evolution and excitedly takes the plunge into the entertainment industry, bringing with her a lifelong love of film and print media. She is a proud (and extremely lucky!) cancer survivor and her non-profit organization, Capes for Courage, LLC is dedicated to providing free superhero capes to people facing life-threatening illnesses. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, re-reading the Harry Potter series for the umpteenth time, and watching superhero movies. Michelle has lived in Argentina and Brazil, and currently resides in the United States with her husband and two children.
