“Ask a Retailer” with Carr D’Angelo!

One of the most beneficial perks of membership in the Creators Workshop is the ability to talk with established comics pros about any and every aspect of the industry imaginable. Not just writers and artists, either!

In addition to our respected coterie of creators, we host an “Ask a Retailer” feature. Earth-2 Comics owner Carr D’Angelo of Los Angeles is available to answer your questions about comics from his unique vantage point as not only a business owner, but a writer, editor, board member and former vice president of ComicsPRO, and both an Eisner winner and judge as well.

His insight can help inextricably when it comes to determining how to market your comic, as well as the latest demographic and consumer trends. And, of course, plenty more! We’re honored to have him as part of our team, and know for a fact that you’ll learn plenty from his extensive experience.

Carr D’Angelo is the owner of Earth-2 Comics which has two stores in the Los Angeles, CA area: one in Sherman Oaks and the other in Northridge (in partnership with Geoff Johns). He started his career in New York as an editor and writer for Starlog, Fangoria and Comics Scene magazines. Moving to Los Angeles, he became a script reader, studio executive and movie producer.
