Enrollment Open for Master Seminar: Building Your Comic Project with Jim Zub!

ce-fb-ad-jim-zub-master-seminarOn October 29, 2016, we’re holding a Master Seminar on Building Your Comic Project! Taught by writer, artist, and art instructor Jim Zub, this one-day experience will cover the ins and outs of creating a comic project from the ground up.

By the end of this one-day event, you’ll be equipped with the tools to launch – and complete – a fully-realized project from start to finish.

Jim is the writer of creator-owned series Makeshift Miracle, Skullkickers, and Wayward. His writing has also appeared in commercial titles including Batman: Harley Quinn, Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight, and Conan/Red Sonja, as well as many others!

When he’s not writing comics, Jim is also Program Coordinator for Seneca College’s Animation program. Plus, his website is a go-to resource for comic creators, offering tutorials in all aspects of comic creation.

When it comes to understanding the process inside and out – and sharing that knowledge with others – Jim is one of the industry’s most trusted authorities!

He comments:

“There are many resources available for creators when it comes to art and writing, but understanding how to effectively build a project and carry it through to completion without losing your mind or your savings, that’s not something I’ve seen as much of, so when Andy approached me about hosting a session covering that hard to find material I agreed.”

Building Your Comic Project with Jim Zub will take place one day only: Saturday, October 29, 2016, from 10 a.m. until approximately 4 p.m. Eastern Time. The seminar is LIVE, online, so you can attend from wherever you live. The session includes a one-hour lunch break, as well as a Q&A session with Jim and co-host Andy Schmidt. All registered attendees will also have access to a recording of the event to review for two more weeks.
