Rob Anderson”s “Femme Fatale” published by Challenger Comics!

For Comics Experience community members, Rob Anderson needs no introduction. He’s been a strong and influential voice in the CE community and served in many roles: General Manager, co-instructor of our popular Making Comics course, Creators Workshop member, and alum of the Intro to Writing, Advanced Writing, and Comic Book Editing & Project Management courses.

anderson-bioRob is also a writer whose credits include My Little Pony for IDW, as well as the creator-owned mini-series Rex, Zombie Killer, published by Big Dog Ink.

Now, we’re happy to share another of Rob’s projects: his story “Femme Fatale” was recently published by Challenger Comics. This super-short, sci-fi crime noir piece was developed in our Creators Workshop, is digital only, and is completely FREE to read!

Rob developed this story as part of a  Creators Workshop Challenge: to tell a complete story in only 3 panels! The story was posted and critiqued on the Workshop, along with many other 3-panel stories.

The piece is edited by another CE community member: alum and Book Club Moderator, and Making Comics co-instructor, Paul Allor. Paul is a writer and editor who has written GI Joe and TMNT for IDW, and Strange Nation for MonkeyBrain, as well as the critically acclaimed Orc Girl for Challenger Comics. He is editor on books such as Sheltered from Image, and Rex, Zombie Killer from Big Dog Ink.

Femme Fatale” also contains art by Lane Terasaki, colors by Juan Romera, and letters/colors by E.T. Dollman.

Challenger Comics exists as a one-stop hub to discover new work and talent, formed to feature bold work being created independently, in digital and print. Challenger Comics is curated by publishers Ryan Ferrier and Brian Level.

Congrats to Rob and his collaborators! You can check out their story here.
