This intensive course teaches you all the necessary tools and tricks for not only coloring with Photoshop, but also how to use color as a storytelling device.

Professional Techniques: Advanced Narrative & Storytelling Skills
Start date: SEPTEMBER 15
Instructor: Andy Schmidt
This course is open to all comics writers and covers narrative techniques such as panel count, panel shape and size, double-page spreads, parallel narratives, choosing your narrator, “show don’t tell,” texts as imagery, and much more!

Introduction to Webcomics
Start date: SEPTEMBER 18
Instructors: Gannon Beck & Bryan Richmond
This course teaches the technologies involved in starting your own online comic, how to build an audience, and how to monetize your work.

Advanced Comic Book Art: Professional Penciling Techniques
Start date: SEPTEMBER 24
Instructor: Robert Atkins
This course covers professional penciling skills such as establishing backgrounds and perspective, creating depth, when and how to use visual reference, and how to create a mood or portray emotion in your characters through the art.


All courses are offered live online! Classes are recorded for later viewing if you need to miss or review a session. All students have access to our Creators Workshop, and a private course forum to discuss work with fellow students.
